Wine 24 is designed to enhance the storage of wine and space and celebrate the inserting and removal of wine into the storage unit. In the central void, an adjustable dim light shall occupy the space, and when the wine storage is full, the refraction of light surrounds the space and pieces into the environment.
Handmade by skilled artisans this wine storage interacts with a traditional and local metal rods craft mastered in generations in Moradabad, Northern India, and in combination with the sustainable choice of material for the top plate, Wine 24 honours the supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals of protecting “Life on Land” (SDGs 15) and the production method honours “Decent Work and Economic growth” (SDGs 8), “Responsible Consumption and Production” (SDGs 12) and “Partnership for the Goals” (SDGs 17) by providing programs that can vitalize local craftsmanship — allowing artisans to reach their maximum potential and paying them better wages while simultaneously serving economic and social goals.
