Ishi Table

Design: Nendo

Six out of twelve ‘stones’ made in fine Lebanon cedar are used to hold the fine glass top. This design hides a more subtle meaning, evoked by its Japanese name Ishi, the path to achieve a goal. Here a success of pure beauty, reached by the balance between materials and their expressions.

Base consisting of eleven components in shaped wood, with varying and different rounded shapes. Six elements,stabilized by a steel weight, support the top, while others are purely decorative.

Base
Solid Lebanese cedarwood, finished with transparent water-based or solvent-based paint. Weight in steel.

Top
Extra-clear tempered glass, 12 mm thick. Polished edge.
