Cappellini – Crystal Ball by Matteo Zorzenoni

Crystal Ball

Design: Matteo Zorzenoni

The collection of vases-sculpture Crystal Ball as the name suggests, binds the fragility of the glass to the memory of a childhood game, the magic bubbles that were a cult in the 90s, hence inspired the name of the collection. The idea of the game, of the lightness, finds himself in these parts where the small bases in solid ash wood, sustain the great spheres of pyrex, thus being to create a visual imbalance between fullness and emptiness, between fragility and strength.

Structure - in white-stained massive ashwood with an inner metal frame. Spheres - coloured pyrex.
