A coiling upwards like a snake at a snake-charming is Eckart Muthesius' spiral-shaped umbrella-stand Usha, created for the exotic fairytale palace of the Maharajah of Indore.

Umbrella-stand of chromium-plated flat steel. Base made of wood with black satin gloss lacquer finish. Drip pan sheet steel with grey lacquer finish.
